Leslie Prince

Leslie Prince CBE, FCA, (27 May 1901 - 28 August 1986) was an AJA Council Member for many years and was instrumental in the work of the Central Fund for Refugees between 1940 and 1944 and the Jewish Colonial Association, founded by Baron de Hirsch. He was also Deputy Director of Finance at the Ministry of Supply between 1944 and 1947, Sheriff of the City of London from 1954 to 1955, and chairman of the finance committee of the Corporation of London from 1957 to 1970. In 1961 he succeeded Evelyn de Rothschild as Chairman of the Industrial Dwellings Society.
